Trip to The Hidden Paradise in East Java - Pulau Sempu

Pulau Sempu

Rabu (18/07) adalah hari yang saya tunggu-tunggu. Rencana backpacker ke Pulau Sempu akhirnya terlaksana juga. Bersama sembilan orang teman saya dari Komunikasi Unair, kami berangkat dari Surabaya dengan rute Gubeng, Surabaya - Terminal Bungurasih, Surabaya - Terminal Arjosari, Malang - Pantai Sendang Biru - Pulau Sempu.

Kami bersepuluh, cukup menghabiskan sekitar Rp 100.000/orang untuk perjalanan PP Surabaya - Sempu. Dengan rincian:

Komuter Gubeng - Terminal Bungurasih Rp 3.000/orang

Bus Ekonomi Surabaya - Malang PP Rp 20.000/orang

Kendaraan umum Terminal Arjosari - Pantai Sendang Biru PP Rp 40.000/orang

Perahu penyebrangan Sendang Biru - Sempu PP Rp 100.000/rombongan @ Rp 10.000/orang

Guide pulang pergi menyusuri Pulau Sempu Rp 200.000/rombongan @ Rp 20.000/orang

Masuk Pantai Sendang Biru Rp 5.000/orang
Sewa tenda Rp 8.000/orang

Sumbangan sukarela pos perijinan memasuki Pulau Sempu. Harga yang terjangkau untuk perjalanan yang menyenangkan.

Di terminal Arjosari

Menyebrang ke Pulau Sempu

Meski dalam perjalanan diguyur hujan, namun perjalanan kami tetap menyenangkan. Sesampainya di Pulau Sempu, kami harus menyusuri hutan sepanjang 2,4 Km untuk sampai ke lokasi camp di Segara Anakan. Akibat hujan yang terus mengguyur, jalanan yang kami lewati menjadi licin, berlumpur, dan becek. Beberapa dari kami pun sempat terjatuh berkali-kali.

Sebelum perjalanan pulang ke Surabaya

Setelah dua jam menyusuri hutan, sampailah kami di Segara Anakan. Dengan rasa bahagia setelah perjalanan panjang, kami pun langsung menceburkan diri disana. Karena hari sudah mulai gelap, kami mendirikan tenda untuk tempat beristirahat di malam harinya. Perut-perut pun mulai keroncongan, untungnya kami sudah menyiapkan bekal dari Surabaya untuk dimasak di sana. Mie Goreng, Sosis, Roti dan Snack menjadi teman kami disana.

Pulau Sempu yang sekarang agak berbeda dari cerita yang saya baca di beberapa blog. Mereka bercerita mengenai keindahan Pulau Sempu tanpa ada kekurangannya. Disana saya melihat sendiri bagaimana masih banyak sampah yang ditinggalkan para pengunjung. Saya sedikit kecewa juga mengetahui hal itu, kenapa mereka tidak membawa kembali sampah yang sudah mereka buat?

Namun, Pulau Sempu tetap indah dimata saya. Airnya yang jernih, karang bolong, hutannya yang hijau membuat saya tetap merindukan Pulau Sempu. Alangkah baiknya jika pengunjung menjaga kebersihan dan tidak membuat sampah di sana.
